Bondone Electrocast Resin

BondOne Electrocast is a black | brown coloured, solvent less, filled epoxy system.

Electrocast resin is type of resin specifically designed for use in electrical and electronic applications. This resin is an epoxy based material used for potting, encapsulation or castting to provide insulation, protection and mechanical support to sensitive electronic and electrical components.

Applications:

Casting, potting and sealing of small and medium sized electrical components
Casting of switch gear components and insulators
Cable joint insulation
Topping of capacitors as sealants

Application Procedure:

Make sure casting surface is clean without contaminants.
Apply release agent to mould.
Mix resin: hardener in ratio 100:25 to get uniform mixture.
Pour mixture in casting mould.
Allow to set for 24 hrs.
Take out the casting from the mould and prepare the surface for final finishing.
